ORIGINAL – Extract from ‘The Wind Woman’ by Ron Bacon
There is a land where grey ghost trees grasp the ground with crooked finger roots, where winter’s snows lie white and deep and thunderclouds clump in the skies. And on a mountain where soft mists surge and blow, there is a rock, black and craggy.
Ella’s work using the Cameo – done in Marg Thomson’s Writing Group
There is a place where a plum tree stands crocked and rotten, with plums that have been pecked into faces, where the sun can’t find me and a little breeze sweeps lazily around me and a little girl sits on a swing giggling and laughing with her mum.
